Richa looked sizzling in her white top and red skirt for the outing. A pair of golden sandals and her cute smile enhanced her look. She let her open hair do the rest of the talking. Speaking of Fazal, the actor showed off his handsomeness in his white shirt, denim and a black jacket.
Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha met on the sets of their 2013 film Fukrey. The duo became good friends, and eventually started dating in 2016. However, it was in 2017 that the couple made their relationship official when Richa accompanied Ali for the premiere of the latter's Hollywood film Victoria And Abdul at the Venice Film Festival.
They were all set to tie the knot in April this year. However, the coronavirus pandemic and subsequent lockdown washed off their marriage plans. The wedding has now been pushed to early 2021.
Talking about the same in an interview, Fazal said, "Let’s see when we are able to accept the new normal, then, we will decide on a date, maybe early next year.” Asked if the couple will stick to their original plan of hosting celebrations in three cities, Ali said, “We came up with that plan only so our relatives wouldn’t have to travel. We wanted to tackle each side in their own city.”
Richa also expressed the same. She said, "So, it is only pragmatic to push the wedding to the coming year in the interest of everyone who would wish to attend.”
In a recent interview, Richa had taken us to the memory lane remembered the moment when she understood that Fazal was her big love. "We were at my house watching the 1992 biographical comedy, Chaplin. I was happy to see him enjoy the movie and grateful to have found someone with similar tastes. That is when I said, 'I love you,'" she recounted, laughing that it took him three months to say the words back to her.
Preparations for the couple's wedding were on in full swing, and so, Richa says it is a bit disheartening that they will have to postpone it. "The idea is to celebrate our special day with people close to us - our friends and family. Once things settle down and when the time is right, hopefully, we will come back and the new world will celebrate with us. I don't know what kind of wedding celebration it will be now, given the new norms, but let's see."
