Nana Patekar's mother Nirmala Patekar was 99 years old. A lot of celebrities paid a visit to the mourning's family - including Sham Kaushal.
Nana Patekar's father worked in a textile printing business and lived in Mumbai, while Nana lived in Murad with his mother. His father passed away when the actor was 28.
The Patekar family had seven children, out of which five died in their childhood. Later, Nana's mother gave birth to him after his elder brother.
Nana Patekar's mother had developed memory issues in recent years, though she could recognise the movements of the people.
May her soul rest in peace.
