Directed by Anubhav Sinha who is known to helm films like Mulk and Article 15, Thappad is about Taapsee, an upper-middle-class educated woman who seeks divorce from her husband after he publicly slaps her at a party.

Dia Mirza looked fresh as a daisy in her white dotted saree and blue blouse. The 38-year-old actress tied her hair in a bun which enhanced her attire.

Apart from Taapsee and Dia, the movie also stars Ratna Pathak Shah, Manav Kaul, Pavail Gulati, Tanvi Azmi, and Ram Kapoor in pivotal roles. Thappad is being produced by Anubhav Sinha and Bhushan Kumar

Vaani Kapoor was clicked hanging out in the same suburb. The actress kept it pretty simple with her white t-shirt and denim.

Vaani was last seen on-screen in the 2019 film War, which went on to become the highest grosser of that year. She will be next seen in YRF's adventure film Shamshera opposite Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt.

Varun Dhawan was out chilling with his friend in the same suburb. Varun looked dashing as always in his denim shirt and grey pants.

On the work front, he will be next seen romancing with Sara Ali Khan in Coolie No 1. The film is the remake of the 1995-hit of the same name. The remake is directed by David Dhawan, who directed the original film.
