If you have been listening to 'Pretty Little Baby', then you know of Connie Francis, the legendary American singer of the 1950s and 60s. Unfortunately, she passed away at 87 on July 16. The announcement was made by her dear friend and publicist Ron Roberts on Facebook.
Beyond the viral song on social media, Francis was known for several other hits including 'Stupid Cupid', 'Who's Sorry Now?' and 'Lipstick On Your Collar' among others. Known to cater to the younger audience over the last 70 years, she has let an important mark on the current generation who fell in love with her hit more than 60 years later
Malcolm Jamal-Warner
Later in the month, American actor and musician Malcolm Jamal-Warner passed away at 54 on July 20 after drowning of a beach in Costa Rica.
Populary known for his Emmy-nominated role as Theodore Huxtable in the 'The Cosby Show', he was also acted in 'Suits' and 'The Resident'. In a career spanning over 30 years, he also won a Grammy Award for Best Traditional R&B Performance for a song 'Jesus Children' along with Robert Glasper Experiment and Lalah Hathaway
Chuck Mangione
Jazz fans mourned the loss of an American flugelhorn player Charles Frank Mangione. The performer, popularly known as Chuck Mangione, who was also a trumpeter and composer, passed away on July 22 at the age of 84.
Known to be a jazz legend, Mangione was associated with Art Blakey's band before he formed his own band with his brother Gap Mangione called Jazz Brothers, and is famously known for his single 'Feels So Good'
Ozzy Osbourne
The passing of Ozzy Osbourne, legendary singer and founding member of the Black Sabbath band, has left a big void in the hearts of many metal music fans not only around the world but also in India.
Popularly known as the 'Prince of Darkness', the Englishman was suffering from Parkinson's Disease, and performed on his last tour only earlier this month, but unfortunately passed away at 76 on July 22.

Hulk Hogan
If you are a Millennial, your childhood is incomplete without the antics of Hulk Hogan, the American professional wrestler, who used to popularly appear on WWE. He passed away on July 24 at the age of 71.
Born Terry Gene Bollea, he adopted the name Hulk Hogan, and has now been forever immortalised in wrestling history, because of his towering physique and unique red-and-yellow attire, along with the signature horseshoe moustache
