Every year, World Parkinson's Disease Day or World Parkinson's Day, as it is more popularly called is observed on April 11. While we know of people around us who suffer from it, did you know these notable world celebrities and figures, have also lived with the condition?

Michael J Fox Hollywood actor Michael J Fox is popularly known for his role as Marty McFly in the 1985 film 'Back to the Future' and the subsequent films that make up the trilogy. However, he was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease in 1991 but did not make it public till 1998, after which he started the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research in 2000 to contribute to awareness and research about it
