People from all over India including Mumbai and Goa have descended in Nashik to celebrate the annual feast of Infant Jesus, which is a pilgrimage carried out by people every year

Every year, thousands of pilgrims travel from all over the country to visit the shrine of Infant Jesus, which has been known for many miracles over the years

While earlier there were specific trains organised, there are also many buses that conduct a day trip or more to the shrine, as others take up accommodation in the neighbourhood.

The shrine was built in 1970 by the Late Father Peter Lewis. While the shrine is usually visited by Catholic devotees, over the years, it has seen many people of other faith also visit like Mount Mary Church feast in Bandra during Bandra Fair
