Cabinet Minister Aaditya Thackeray has finally seen the light, and entry to the Bandra Wonderland light show has been stopped. People can only see it from outside now. Thackeray had been criticised for inviting people to the light show at Bandra Reclamation despite rising Covid-19 cases.

On Thursday, the show’s organiser Rahul Kanal tweeted, “Due to increasing number of Covid cases physical entry at Bandra Wonderland has been restricted. However, the laser light show will go on for Mumbaikars. (SIC)” The increasing number of Covid-19 cases have led the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to restrict New Year celebrations and gatherings in the city in restaurants, bars, resorts, clubs and hotels. The order is in force till January 7.
