Mumbai reports 410 new Covid-19 cases, 2 deaths
Mumbai on Thursday reported 410 new Covid-19 cases, while two more patients succumbed to the infection in the metropolis, according to Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
With these additions, the overall infection tally rose to 11,26,150, while the death toll increased to 19,654, as per BMC bulletin.

Police have registered a case against a woman office-bearer of Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena for allegedly using derogatory language against Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, who heads another faction of the party, an official said on Thursday.

Water cut in Mumbai
Parts of the city will witness water cut or disrupted supply today as the BMC has undertaken the work of connecting the Tansa main line with the break pressure tunnel line. Areas from Ghatkopar to Bhandup, including Powai will not get water at all from 10 am till the next day, while the international airport and Bandra Terminus, which get 24 hours water supply, will get water after midnight.

The Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) of Maharashtra has seized in-vitro diagnostic kits which were being sold without license in Thane district, officials said on Wednesday. Stock worth Rs 12.40 lakh was seized during a raid at a unit in Shilphata area here on Tuesday, they said.
