Mumbai News LIVE Updates: Maharashtra govt forms panel to recommend amendments for easing of land fragmentation law
The Maharashtra government on Wednesday constituted a high-level committee to recommend amendments to the Maharashtra Prevention of Fragmentation and Consolidation of Holdings Act with an aim to simplify the regularisation of unauthorised land fragments. A Government Resolution (GR) to this effect has been issued by the Revenue and Forest Department, reported PTI.

Mumbai News LIVE Updates: 123 illegal bike taxis found in Mumbai metropolitan region
Regional Transport Offices (RTOs) have registered cases against 123 bike taxis operating in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, the Maharashtra Transport Department said on Wednesday, reported PTI. The department stated that 76 of the 123 two-wheelers were seized and cases registered against the concerned riders under the Motor Vehicles Rules, while legal action has been initiated against illegal app-based aggregators, an official release stated.

CA Raj Leela More, a resident of Vakola area, allegedly killed himself by drinking poison on July 12, blaming Rahul Parwani and his girlfriend Saba Qureshi for blackmailing him with his intimate videos and extorting money over the last 18 months.
