In a significant outbreak, the MHB Police have busted a dating app scam operating out of a Borivali-based club. The MHB police have arrested 22 people, including six women and the club manager. According to the police, the accused women who have been arrested used popular dating apps like Tinder to lure unsuspecting men into visiting the club. The women then further manipulated the victims into ordering food and drinks, racking up inflated bills.

Mumbai News LIVE Updates: COVID-19 cases continue downward trend in Maharashtra; only 8 new infections

Maharashtra is gradually emerging from a concerning phase of COVID-19, with the latest figures offering encouraging signs. According to data released by the State Public Health Department on Sunday, only eight new COVID-19 cases were reported across Maharashtra.  Officials confirmed that all new patients are exhibiting mild symptoms and none require intensive care. Since January this year, the state has conducted 33,157 COVID-19 tests, of which 2577 samples have returned positive.
