A rescue operation was immediately launched after Sairaj Dhananjay Chavan fell, but heavy rains and dense fog severely hindered efforts to locate him."Chavan was found lying unconscious around 3:30 PM on Monday," Murbad Tehsildar Abhijit Deshmukh stated. However, fog and slippery rocks prevented rescuers from descending into the gorge at that time. His body was finally retrieved on Tuesday morning, and police are now investigating the incident: PTI
