In a significant and historic move, Animal Husbandry Minister Pankaja Munde has decided that transfers of Livestock Development Officers and Assistant Commissioners in the Animal Husbandry Department will now be conducted through a counselling process. Two newly built Road Over Bridges (ROBs)-- Reay Road and Titwala bridges are scheduled to be inaugurated on Tuesday evening making it a major step in easing the traffic congestion in Mumbai and Kalyan area respectively. The two bridges will be inaugurated at 7 pm on May 13 by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and will be joined by Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar.
