Mumbai witnessed intense monsoon rainfall on 4 July 2026, with several parts of the city recording heavy to very heavy showers between 8:30 am and 8:30 pm. According to rainfall data, Ram Mandir recorded the highest rainfall at 243.5 mm, followed by Vikhroli with 217.0 mm and Santacruz with 192.1 mm. Other areas that received significant rainfall included Vidyavihar (154.5 mm), Byculla (143.0 mm), Sion (141.5 mm) and Bandra (139.0 mm). Colaba recorded 88.8 mm during the same period
