Fireworks, lightshows and more: How Mumbai celebrated New Year 2020

Thousands of people in Mumbai gathered at beaches and thronged promenades such as Marine Drive from late Tuesday evening to ring in the New Year. Over 40,000 police personnel were manning the streets of the country's commercial capital. People gathered at various areas in the city to get a glimpse of the firecrackers and lightshow.
