The Grand Central Park in Thane is spread across 20 acres of land

CM Eknath Shinde who is also MLA from Thane, toured the park and inspected the facilities 

For the inauguration of the park, State School Education Minister Deepak Kesarkar, MLA Pratap Sarnaik, MLA Sanjay Kelkar and others were also present

CM Eknath Shinde also inaugurated the District Sports Complex in Thane city on Thursday

The sports complex will provide a platform to the athletes in Thane district

If the athletes are provided with international standard training, good practice and proper facilities, they can bring Olympic medal for the country one day, CM said
