The incident was reported around 7:40 am near the Last Bus Stop on Pipeline Road at Taricha Pada in Thane (West), according to the Thane Municipal Corporation’s Disaster Management Cell

Soon after the alert, personnel from the Disaster Management Cell rushed to the spot with a pickup vehicle, while teams from the Fire Brigade deployed two fire engines and a jumbo water tanker to contain the blaze

Authorities said no injuries have been reported so far

Firefighters and disaster management officials are continuing efforts to bring the fire under control

The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
