The Indian Navy commissioned INS Tamal (F 71) on 01 July 2025 at Yantar Shipyard, Kaliningrad, Russia, in presence of VAdm Sanjay Jasjit Singh, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Western Naval Command.
