DGP Rajeev Krishna highlighted that policing in Uttar Pradesh has followed a consistent direction over the past eight years under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and affirmed his commitment to continue on this path with renewed strategic focus. He also introduced a comprehensive 10-point agenda aimed at improving policing standards, stating that the police will adopt a strict and uncompromising approach towards criminals, particularly those linked to organised crime networks

The DGP further emphasised that addressing public grievances with responsiveness and sensitivity will be a key priority, ensuring that all voices are heard and complaints are resolved promptly. He also warned that any disruption to public order would be handled firmly. Highlighting cybercrime as a growing concern, particularly in the post-Covid era, he noted that the cyber infrastructure has already been strengthened and will be further modernised with advanced technologies.
