The actress looked excited and happy about this mother-daughter outing. She was seen wearing a simple grey hoodie and chic sunnies on her day out.
Deepika Padukone was all smiles when she spotted the shutterbugs. She kept her look simple, yet pretty, with minimal makeup and loose wavy hair.
After portraying the role of Rani Padmavati in her magnum opus Padmaavat in 2018, Deepika Padukone was seen making a special appearance in the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Zero. Her upcoming film is titled Chhapak and is based on the life of an acid attack survivor, Laxmi Agarwal. Chhapak, directed by Meghna Gulzar, also stars Vikrant Massey and will be co-produced by Deepika herself.
With Chhapak being a female-oriented film, Deepika feels that filmmakers are now more open to making female-driven films. "We are in a place today where directors are changing roles and that's unheard of. If you have a script that has a male protagonist and suddenly directors are like, 'Let me just flip that. Let me just make that female protagonist and then go to so and so with the film' so, you hear of a film that was offered to a male actor two-three years ago and it's coming back to you now with a female protagonist which is a huge achievement," she said in an interview.
Ujjala Padukone looked lovely for her day out with daughter Deepika.
She chose a simple striped outfit for the salon session. Ujjala, who lives in Bangalore with husband Prakash Padukone and younger daughter Anisha, frequently makes trips to Mumbai to be with Deepika.
