Also joining the family was veteran actor Jackie Shroff, who also planted a few saplings at the plantation drive.

The entire group was in good spirits during the event. Veteran actress Tanuja joked around with Jackie while daughter Kajol looked on.

Kajol shared an important message regarding tree plantation on Instagram. She posted a video from the plantation drive and captioned it, "It is impossible for 1.37 billion of us to share a healthy environment with a bare 21.54 per cent of tree cover. 1 person on an average consumes oxygen produced by 7 trees in the entire life. Hence, I request everyone to support @stamp_ngo"

Kajol said in the video that sister Tanishaa has started Stamp NGO and she's extremely proud of her for that.

On the work front, Kajol was last seen in the film Helicopter Eela. The film also starred Neha Dhupia and Riddhi Sen. Kajol will next be seen in the historical drama Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior also starring husband Ajay Devgn.

On the other hand, Tanuja's recent prominent appearances have been in projects like Pitruroon, A Death in the Gunj, Aarambh and Sonar Pahar. She is known for films like Memdidi, Chand Aur Suraj, Baharen Phir Bhi Aayengi, Jewel Thief, Haathi Mere Saathi, Anubhav, and many other films.
