Reliance Group Chairman Anil Ambani, Amitabh Bachchan, Sharmila Tagore, Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao, Kajol, Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan, Soha Ali Khan, Kunal Kemmu, Alia Bhatt, Rani Mukerji, Ayan Mukerji, Anil Kapoor and Salma Khan were among those who were present.
Krishna Raj Kapoor, the widow of the legendary Bollywood actor-filmmaker Raj Kapoor, died in Mumbai on Monday at the age of 87, bringing an end to the second generation of the influential clan. A gamut of film fraternity celebrities mourned her demise, and remembered her as the pillar of the Kapoor family, and as someone who personified grace, dignity and affection.

Karan Johar remembered Krishna Raj Kapoor calling her 'The embodiment of grace'. He wrote on Twitter, "The embodiment of grace...of dignity ...of elegance and of stength....Krishna aunty will always be the First Lady of the Film Fraternity...the most generous, kind and gentle person I have ever known with the most terrific sense of humour...will miss you Krishna aunty."

Veteran screenwriter Salim Khan also took to social media to offer his condolences.
"Krishnaji no more, sad. A lady who became a devi (goddess). They don't make them like her anymore. #KrishnaRajKapoor," he tweeted. Salman Khan, though didn't attend the funeral, he offered condolences, tweeting, "Krishna aunty... my mother and me will miss you always..."
Sanjay Dutt and wife Maanayata Dutt visited Krishna Raj Kapoor's bungalow in Chembur. Sanju took to Twitter to write, "Heartbroken to hear about Krishna aunty's demise. She was one of the sweetest women I had the pleasure of knowing. I have such wonderful memories of spending quality time with her! My heartfelt condolences to the Kapoor family. May she rest in peace."
