Preity Zinta spotted exiting the restaurant in Bandra, Mumbai, following a dinner outing. Though Punjab was unable to qualify for the playoffs, the franchise co-owner Preity was reportedly delighted that defending champions Mumbai couldn't go past the league stage either. A video went viral on Twitter recently where the Bollywood actress was seen talking to a fellow Punjab member and saying what appeared like: "I am just very happy that Mumbai is not going to the finals … really happy." On Monday, when a Twitter user asked Preity Zinta, "Mam @realpreityzinta did you really said "I am just very happy that Mumbai is not going to the finals?#ChennaivPunjab (sic)," she replied, "Relax! Only if Mumbai was "Knocked Out" Punjab would have had a chance of getting to the playoffs but Rajasthan was happier we were Knocked out by Chennai cuz they got to go to the playoffs! When you leave it till the end, one has to not just see your wins but other teams losses as well (sic)"
Last week, Preity Zinta tweeted a picture with Andrew Tye, who got back the purple cap the day when he lost his grandmother, while Zinta lost her maternal grandmother on May 6. Zinta captioned the picture, "What an emotional weekend. We both lose our grandma's still there is a reason to Smile as the super talented @aj191 is rewarded with the #Purplecap #Rip #Grandma #Nani #RRvsKXIP #Bittersweet #Strength #Emotional #Excellence #vivoipl2018 (sic)"
Bollywood actor Upen Patel was also spotted after dinner at the same restaurant. Upen recently revealed during a media interaction at the Lonely Planet Magazine India Travel Awards 2018 here on Thursday that he is a Salman Khan fan and loved the trailer of the superstar's upcoming film Race 3. "I loved the trailer of 'Race 3'. I am a Salman Khan Fan, so obviously I loved it. I am also a fan of 'Race 3' and the trailer is looking very stylish with lots of action and lots of one-liners. So, I really enjoyed it," Upen said
An avid traveller, Upen Patel says he loves India the most. On his favourite travel destination, he said: "I like to travel to London as my family is there and every time I get a chance, I try and visit London. But other than London, I love Dubai. It is beautiful and close to India. But honestly I love India the most. India is my favourite"
Upen Patel, who most notably starred in Namastey London, is an eligible bachelor in Bollywood. But when asked if he would take an actress to his favourite travel destination and who would it be, Upen said: "Even If I could take an actress with me, I think I won't take any. I would take my mother, you know... I would take my family, why would I want to take an actress?"
Upen Patel was spotted exiting the restaurant with a lady friend. Earlier this month, a few auto rickshaw drivers reached out to Upen Patel for help as soon as he stepped out of a meeting in Bandra. A source says, "One of them found an iPhone in his rickshaw and didn't know how to reach out to the owner. When they spoke to Upen, he accessed the phone immediately and called the owner. He waited for over 30 minutes before handing over the phone to him"
Upen Patel made his Bollywood debut in 2006 with 36 China Town, directed by the duo Abbas-Mustan. But he gained real popularity in Namastey London. On the film front, Upen Patel, who had played a negative role in Shankar's Tamil film I, is all excited about another Tamil film Boomerang. He has completed its first schedule. "I have had a great experience working with the team of 'Boomerang' and I feel blessed that I am getting to work with an experienced and very humble team. I really love how organised and hard working everyone is and I know the second schedule is going to be intense with a huge action scene planned," Upen Patel said to an online news portal
