Addressing a press conference, the CEO said that polling was conducted across 142 Assembly seats in eight districts: Kolkata South, Kolkata North, South 24 Parganas, North 24 Parganas, Howrah, Hooghly, Nadia, and Purba Bardhaman

Among districts, Purba Bardhaman reported the highest turnout at 92.46 per cent, followed by Hooghly (90.34 per cent), Nadia (90.28 per cent) and Howrah (89.44 per cent)
