The DB Marg Police arrested a 26-year-old teacher from Jharkhand for allegedly developing and selling fake Android application package (APK) files used by cyber fraudsters in a pan-India scam worth Rs 63.69 crore. The accused, identified as SK Mandal, was arrested in West Bengal after evading arrest

According to the police investigation, the suspect allegedly created and sold 91 fake mobile applications to cyber criminals. These applications were allegedly used to target 2,993 people across the country, including 512 victims in Mumbai and Maharashtra
