In a shocking incident involving the rape of a minor girl, a sonography test on a 16-year-old Palghar-based girl has revealed that she had been raped and is almost eight months pregnant now. Her parents said that the girl, a Std IX student, had been sexually assaulted by four youths, including two minor boys.

All four accused were arrested after an FIR was registered against them in Palghar police station. The survivor, along with her parents, lives next to Palghar railway station. Both her parents are daily wage labourers.
