Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) leaders meet Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) Director to make him aware of the activities of a few anti-social elements on the campus
Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) seems to have taken the first step into the campus of Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS).
On Late Friday evening, a group of ABVP leaders from the city with their leader from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) met S Parasuraman, director of the Institute. The objective according to the members was to make the institute authorities aware of the activities of a few anti-social elements on the campus.

Aniket Ovhal, ABVP's Mumbai Secretary, told mid-day, "The meeting included informing the director about the different activities happening on campus in solidarity with the anti social elements on JNU campus. Lalit Pandey, Secretary JNU ABVP unit kept the sequence of facts regarding anti national activism in JNU. He stressed entrire JNU is not supporting such activities but a handful of them are creating a vicious environment and misleading students towards naxalism. We requested the TISS administration to keep check on presence of any such elements in TISS Campus so that similar situations do not arise."
