From Gautam Gambhir to Rahul Dravid, all have had good words to say about the promising 20-year-old, who was fast tracked into the Board President's XI team after chief selector Sandeep Patil saw a spark in him.

Nathu was impressive with his pace and bounce in the nets yesterday and today is the perfect opportunity for him to translate his early promise into action when Board President's XI take on South Africa in a two-day warm-up tie.

“Nathu Singh is quick and can swing the ball too. These matches against top players in the world will give him a lot of confidence. This is the right platform for him to perform,” said Board President's XI skipper Cheteshwar Pujara.
