Oscar-winning actress Anne Hathaway says she is interested in returning to the DC Universe for a Catwoman spinoff movie.
The 33-year-old star, who portrayed Catwoman in the 2012 film The Dark Knight Rises, said, “I love the DC universe and it would be fun to take a trip back,” she said. The actress revealed that she loved her character in the Christopher Nolan’s directorial and had a blast playing her.
Despite her interest, she thinks that it may be difficult to play that character again as the Batman film franchise has already moved on to a new plot.
“I think the Chris Nolan chapter of the Batman story has been wrapped up and I’m part of that,” she added.
