Arrow pierces 16-yr-old's brain in freak accident at Dahisar ground

The teenager was playing cricket at VPM Sports Complex in Dahisar when the arrow, shot by an archer practising nearby, got lodged in his head; cops charge club's manager for negligence

A 16-year-old was seriously injured by an arrow in a freak accident at Dahisar yesterday. He was playing cricket at VPM Sports Complex when an arrow shot by an archer practising nearby pierced his head.

The injured boy, Brijesh Sahani (in pic) was immediately taken to Karuna Hospital where neurosurgeons treated him. The arrow has been surgically removed, but doctors said the next 24 hours will be critical for him.
