In a shocking incident, a man who appeared to be mentally unstable barged into the First Class ladies compartment of a moving Mumbai local train at Borivli and attempted to molest two female passengers.

The incident took place at around 2:48 pm on a Dahanu-Churchgate local train on the Western line.
According to eye witnesses, the man appeared to be mentally unstable and his actions led to panic among the women passengers.

When the train stopped at Andheri, the commuters in other compartments thrashed the man and other ladies too intervened.
Train services on Western Railway were briefly affected due to the incident.
Bystanders captured the drama on their cellphone cameras.

The train departed at 2.56 pm after Government Railway Police (GRP) took the accused under their custody.
