If the latest buzz is to be believed, Kareena has been finalised for the period drama that stars Hrithik Roshan. Says a source, “A lot of names have been doing the rounds as far as the lead actress in Gowariker’s next film is concerned. But Kareena has been finalised as the lead opposite Hrithik.”

The source adds that Kareena is the perfect choice for the role as she fits the character very well. “She has everything that Gowariker is looking for in his leading lady and it is a given that Hrithik and Kareena will look fantastic together on screen,” says the source.

The filmmaker’s spokesperson continues to be evasive. “Ashutosh has been busy shooting for his upcoming television show and nothing has been finalised. As soon as we know more, we will tell you,” was the response. Kareena remained unavailable for comment.
