By now, most of us are used to having a caller ID app installed on our smart phone. And why not? After all, it gives you details about the caller which are quite handy, especially while identifying spam callers. But there's more to the caller ID.

What if we tell you about an app that not only identifies the caller, but also helps you search the numbers of local businesses, right from plumbers to doctors, restaurants and pest control, and also rate their services and get recommendation from friends — all in the same app.

Meet Toost, a new caller ID and number locator app that not only gives details about a caller, but also allows you to rate, receive and offer suggestions to friends and Toost users, about businesses and people. You can rate them and write a review explaining your experience with a business, and whether or not they offer reliable services.
What's more, it offers details about the people in your call log, which you can use to save contacts. Toost also allows you to access its database to connect with your friends or acquaintances (if you lose their contacts), after placing a 'connect' request to the person you wish to connect with.
We are not too sure about the efficiency of the latter service, but keeping in mind its database of businesses and services, Toost is definitely worth a try. The ratings (though very limited) can also come very handy in decision making before hiring a business/service. Happy Toosting!
