Cop trying to resolve pub brawl molested: In June, a brawl that started with two men blaming a Vile Parle pub for overcharging them, ended with the men getting arrested for molesting a woman constable. Two men from Kerala, who work with an automobile company in Mumbai, had come to Copa pub in Vile Parle. A police team, comprising a woman constable, reached there and tried to resolve the matter by requesting both to accompany them to the police station. The men, who were drunk, then began arguing with the cops as well and refused to cooperate. “While this was on, the two men allegedly pushed the cops and one of them allegedly touched the woman constable inappropriately when she was trying to solve the matter,” said a police official.
