The 37-year-old had constant fights with her 67-yer-old mother-in-law; deceased's son, who works in the Malad BEST depot finds mother lying in pool of blood when he returns from work

A 67-year-old resident of Kandivali West, Sector 2, Anand Sagar Building, Archana Anant Vichare was killed on Saturday at her home.

The incident came to light when the woman’s son, Ajit, who works in the Malad BEST depot, returned home from work in the evening. According to the Charkop police, the victim was home alone when the incident occurred.
The son received a call from his brother-in-law that his wife had arrived to her maternal home in Karjat along with their 14 year-old son. Ajit suspected foul play since there were constant fights between his mother and wife, Aarti, 37.
Ajit had found his mother lying in a pool of blood on her bed. The police said she had been hit by a dumbell which carried blood stains .
When Arti told her brother about the incident, he accompanied her to Kandivali police station where she confessed to the crime and was arrested.
