A ward boy of a south Mumbai hospital was arrested on Saturday for allegedly masturbating outside the ICU waiting room, while a patient’s kin was inside the waiting room.

The woman had been talking on the phone inside the room when she noticed the ward boy in the act and complained to her husband on the phone. The husband rushed to the hospital and, subsequently, lodged a complaint with the Azad Maidan police. The accused has been identified as Vivek Jadhav, a 30-year-old ward boy at Bombay Hospital.
