Mumbai: Western Railway seeks commuters' opinion on station indicators

The Western Railway(WR) is asking people their views on station indicator display system at railway stations. Presently, the train indicators on Western Railway stations display the name of stations where the fast trains do not halt.

WR now seeks the suggestions of its commuters as to whether they should continue showing 'not stopping' at the indicators on the stations or change to a new system wherein 'stopping at', would be displayed.

This change will be brought after receiving feedback from passengers.

Suggestions regarding this can be mailed on wrtrainindicator@gmail.com or may be posted on WR's Facebook account i.e. www.facebook.com/WesternRly.

Train indicators are one of the most crucial part of the railway system. About 35 lakh commuters travel on Western Railway suburban network in Mumbai every day and it is the train indicator that makes their daily commuting easier.
