Spanish-made train Talgo yesterday commenced its third and final phase of trials from Delhi to Mumbai. The Talgo train aims to cut the travel time between Delhi and Mumbai to 12 hours, and ran at 130 kmph on this trial run.

The train with Railway and Spanish officials onboard started at 7.55 PM from New Delhi station. It reached Mumbai Central at 11.40 am after 16 long hours though it was marred by difficulties due to water logging near Vapi.
