The actor is said to have been approached for a travel show
Prateik Babbar, who recently made headlines with revelations about his drug addiction, complicated family life and career moves (Read his interview), is likely to make his small screen debut.
If the latest buzz is to be believed, the actor has been approached for a travel show by a popular channel and if everything goes as per plan, the actor will join the list of many Bollywood folk who have forayed into television.
Says a source, “Prateik is considering the offer because it will allow him to travel and see the country in a whole new light. The show will be based on travelling to uncharted territories and difficult terrains of India.”
A few weeks ago, Dia Mirza too made her TV debut with a show called 'Ganga - The Soul of India', which had her indulging in adventure, travel and personal experiences around the holy river.
So how is this show any different?
“This show will tap different regions of the country. The first location will be a trip to the remote corners of Assam and then some other places in the North East,” adds the source.
Prateik remained unavailable for comment.
