A Mumbai-based model and TV actress has lodged a rape complaint against her boyfriend in Pune. She&nbsp;claims the accused videographed the act to blackmail her. The victim is a resident of Andheri (west) in Mumbai, but is currently residing at Wakad.
She has lodged a complaint at the Bhosari MIDC police station against her live-in partner Sanket Lande (28) and his brother Mayur. Both have been booked under relevant sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC) for rape, assault and an act done by them with common intention.

In her statement, the victim said, &ldquo;I knew Sanket since 1993. I met him via my mutual friend. Friendship groomed and, later, Sanket proposed me, I accepted his proposal on the condition he will marry me. Later, we both were busy in our careers. In November 2013, Sanket called me at his house and again proposed to me. We started a live-in relationship. Soon, I became pregnant, but he told that he was not mentally prepared for the child, and asked me abort it. In 2014, Sanket paid a visit to my house, and we started living together.&rdquo; Assistant police inspector, Rupali Bobade, who is investigating the case, added, &ldquo;From 2013 till 2016, both were in a relationship. But, in February this year, Sanket&rsquo;s brother and sister came to meet the couple in Mumbai, and took Sanket along with them, when they came to know that they were in a live-in relationship. Accordingly, Sanket went home, but never communicated to the victim about the development.&rdquo;
Borade added, &ldquo;A few days later, Sanket asked the victim to come to his farm house in Pune and booked a cab for her. Accordingly, the victim came to his house. Later, he slapped her and raped her. Sanket videographed the entire incident and later started blackmailing her, threatening that if she revealed anything, the video will go viral. The victim feared for her life, so when she saw Sanket fast asleep, she left.&rdquo; The cop further added, &ldquo;Next day, Sanket&rsquo;s brother Mayur called up the victim and told her that Sanket is missing, and that he suspected the victim was behind it. The victim smelt a rat, and approached us. The Landes are no run, but we shall soon arrest them. We have learnt that Sanket is also a struggle actor.&rdquo;
The victim has worked in three Bollywood movies, apart from daily soaps.
