She signed off as &lsquo;Elizabeth R&rsquo;, which is how she signs official documents.
The R stands for regina, which is Latin for queen.
The 88-year-old at the launch of a new gallery in London&rsquo;s Science Museum tweeted: &ldquo;I hope people will enjoy visiting the exhibition.&rdquo;
