A dedication to ardent lovers of the sport, the track, titled 10 Saal Aapke Naam, has been created by Bollywood music composers Salim-Sulaiman, and sung by Benny Dayal.
Salim Merchant
compares the task of making a peppy and relatable cricket anthem to "making a hit Bollywood number". He says, "Before we started composing the song, we were sure it had to be a celebration of cricket and reflect the love that people have for the game. The concept of dedicating this season to admirers of the sport is interesting. We wanted to make a hummable song, which people could dance to. That was the greatest challenge."

This season marks the third collaboration between the composers and organisers of the IPL. Given that it is a defining one, was composing the anthem harder? "There was pressure, but we have faced challenges in the past," Salim said.
