Looks like Dipika Kakar, who essays the role of Simar in popular TV soap, Sasural Simar Ka, is accident prone. The actress got injured yet again — hurting her back and neck this time — on set, while shooting for a taandav sequence on Sunday.

Says a source, “Dipika was unwell and exerted herself for the taandav sequence. She injured her neck and back.”
Last July, the actress suffered a minor injury on her lip while filming an action sequence. But, her swollen lip worked for an episode where she had to get hurt for reel.
Recalling the latest incident, Dipika says her body stiffened and she couldn’t move a muscle for a few minutes. “I was down with fever and my doctor prescribed antibiotics and painkillers, along with complete rest. The next morning, I shot for a taandav scene, which made things worse. I ended up with a back and muscle spasm. But, I managed to complete the shoot. I reported to the set the following day, but the makers asked me to take the day off as I had difficulty moving. I am better now,” she adds.
