Sunny Deol, who is gearing up to direct Ghayal Returns — the sequel to Ghayal (1991) — is on the lookout for young talent. It turns out that he has been searching for youngsters to play pivotal roles in the film. With the film expected to go on the floors soon, the actor has been meeting aspiring actors at his office almost everyday.

A source says, “Sunny has been meeting at least 10 to 12 aspirants on a daily basis. He is still in talks with them and is looking at casting at least two or three of them in the film."

Deol’s production house has already put out notices in colleges to spread word about the casting. The source says, “Sunny wants to cast someone who has an interest in photography, law and journalism. They have to be aged between 16 and 18 years."

Ghayal Returns is about a father-daughter relationship. Sunny will once again play the role of Ajay Mehra (that he played in Ghayal), while Meenakshi Seshadri’s character — she was his heroine in the original — will be shown dead in the sequel. Sunny is also looking at finalising the girl who will play his daughter in the forthcoming film.
