Cricketer Suresh Raina on Thursday met the cast and crew of 'Meeruthiya Gangsters' on the movie sets, and was so impressed that he is now awaiting the film's release.
"'Meeruthiya Gangsters' may not have released yet, but it sure has a fan following in the industry. And Suresh Raina is the latest to join this fan bandwagon," the film's producer Shoeb Ahmed, who is friends with Raina, told IANS.
"The entire unit was thrilled to have Raina on the sets. He was shown parts of the film that was being shot. He was really excited and said he can hardly wait to watch the film on the big screen.
"Complimenting the actors, Jaideep Ahlawat and Mukul Dev, Raina revealed how the boys reminded him of his own college friends," he said.
The film also features Sanjay Mishra, Nusrat Bharucha, Ashish Dahiya, Vansh Bhardwaj, Brijendra Kala, Shadab Kamal, Chandrachoor Rai and Jatin Sarna.
Directed by Zeishan Quadri, "Meeruthiya Gangsters" is slated to release in September.
