The makers of 'Fitoor' seem to have found an apt replacement for Rekha in Tabu after the veteran actress recently walked out of the project.

According to industry insiders, Rekha was not too happy with the way the film was shaping up contrary to rumours that she didn't like her look in the film.
A source says, "Rekha was happy with her look. But when she saw the final rushes of some portion of the film, she didn’t like the way it was headed. Initially, she told the makers that she wanted the portions to be re-shot. Though they agreed, getting the dates of the other actors proved difficult."
Confirming the development, Fitoor director Abhishek Kapoor said, "Tabu has given some incredible performances in Maqbool, Namesake and Haider to name a few. She is an actress who has always accepted challenges and I am honoured to have her in my film."
Amrita Pandey of UTV Motion Pictures, who is producing the film, said, "Tabu is a performance powerhouse and after our association with her in The Namesake and more recently in Haider, we look forward to work with her again in Fitoor."
Now, Tabu is said to have replaced her in 'Fitoor' and the unit will apparently pack their bags for Kashmir once again to reshoot Rekha's portions.
Directed by Abhishek Kapoor the film also stars Katrina Kaif and Aditya Roy Kapur.
