Rishikesh: A tigress was killed after it was hit by a speeding train at Ramnagar in Nainital district in the wee hours today.

The body of an adult tigress with its head badly crushed was recovered from the tracks near Hempur army depot at Ramnagar in Nainital district early today, Deputy Director of Corbett Tiger Reserve, Saket Badola told PTI.
