Indian pace bowler Ashish Nehra was recently quizzed by a sports website on the current social media rivalry between India and Bangaldesh ahead of their ICC World Twenty20 encounter tomorrow.

The Indian pacer went on to reply stating that he still uses his old phone and hence is still not on social media accounts such as Facebook and Twitter.

"You are asking this question to a wrong person because I am somebody who is on social media. I am still using my old Nokia so I am not on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. I don't read newspapers," he said. Upon hearing that, the reporters present at the press conference burst out into laughter.

Nehra immeadiately began trending on the social networking site as Twitterati gave mixed reactions to his statement with some trolling him and others asking him to stay the same.

Even BCCI decided to teasing the pacer. The official twitter account of the Indian cricket board decided to have fun at the 36-year-old  bowler's expense with the post, "Dear @virendersehwag pa, can you please get Nehra ji on social media?". Sehwag replied to the tweet with "I will try my best ."
