Mayor Geeta Jain on Tuesday justified the decision of Mumbai's Mira Road-Bhayandar civic body to ban sale of meat during Jain fast. Jain said that initially it was decided to shut it for 18 days but since it clashed with Bakri-Id, the decision of banning sale of meat has been enforced for only eight days.
