Stand-up comedian Samay Raina was spotted interacting with fans in Mumbai on Thursday, and a video from the outing is doing the rounds on social media. While Samay was clicking for pictures, a paparazzo asked if the mark on his neck was a "love bite." He asks, "Gale pe love bite diya hai kisine? (Has anyone given you a love bite on your neck?)" So, the comedian replies with a straight face, "Nai machchar kaata (No, it is a mosquito bite)."
Well, Samay's reaction looks firm, and he didn't add anything more to it. Watch video below!
Meanwhile, it's an exciting week for India's Got Latent fans, as the new episode, featuring Varun Dhawan, Medha Shankar and Sharon Verma as judges, has finally been released today (Friday) on Netflix. On Sunday, fans will get to watch the much-awaited episode featuring Rakhi Sawant.
While sharing the promo video of Varun's episode, Samay captioned, "Life's too short to argue; just say ð and move on. Watch this exclusive episode of India's Got Latent, out tomorrow, only on Netflix!"
Meanwhile, Samay Raina's India's Got Latent season 2 landed in controversy after the previous episode starring Archana Puran Singh, Orry, and Sharon Verma as judges was released. The jokes surrounding Biharis and Kashmiris drew criticism online, while several BJP leaders also reacted to the remarks.
Minister of Education of Bihar, Mithilesh Tiwari, shared his perspective with the media and said, "Any derogatory remark against any citizen of our country is unacceptable. Those who make such remarks are talking about breaking the country. We are people who dream of an Akhand Bharat, and for us, the king and the commoner are equal." Samay is yet to react to the ongoing controversy.
