As the release of Ugly Story approaches, actress Avika Gor has opened up about the emotional and inspiring journey behind the film. The film Ugly Story is all set to hit the theatres on 22nd May 2026.
While speaking about the team, Avika Gor shared heartfelt words for the director and technicians who stood strong despite personal struggles during the making of the project.
Talking about the director, Avika revealed that he continued working tirelessly on the film even while dealing with immense personal loss. "One by one, his parents passed away during the journey of this film. Still, he stayed committed to his work and gave everything to make this film a success. Wherever they are, I'm sure they are proud of him," she shared emotionally.
Avika also praised the director's clarity and precision, adding that watching the final print of the film completely blew her mind. "It never felt like his first film. Every frame had such precision and vision. He made my job as an actor easier because he always knew exactly what he wanted," she said.
The actress further appreciated the contribution of the music director and producer Venu Gopal, calling them people she deeply trusts creatively. "There was a different level of confidence with this project because of the story and direction," she added.
Calling Ugly Story one of the most special projects of her career, Avika concluded by saying that years later, this film will remain one she will always feel proud to be a part of.
